I've forgotten what this is called, but you mash up your swede and potato together with chives.Small change can often be found under seat cushions.

My step-M-I-L (!) who is American, married to a Scot, used to open it & heat it up, then serve it as a hot starter with Toast etc, like you would Pate!
It was the only way her fancy friends would eat something as unrefined as Haggis! (Her words, not mine!). So long as my F-I-L had a dram in his hand he didn't care! LOL! :j:D:beer::eek::A:p:rotfl::cool::):(:T0 -

OMG! I do hope all the poor little haggis on the other Haggis Hunt thread are covering their ears.
You lot should be ashamed.

Believe it or not, I had a wonderful Haggis and Kangaroo Wellington in an Australian restaurant just outside Forfar recently. I'm sure it would work equally well in a Beef Wellington. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

I once had chicken breast and haggis wrapped in puff pastry which was gorgeous. A friend also made us a Shepherds pie except it was made with haggis instead of mince. I fancy a bit of haggis now (and we are down to our last 2 in the freezer .. must get some more).
IvanI don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!0
