Etrade - is there a reason not many people use it?

I'm new to buying shares, basically just need a relaible execution only broker (did briefly use Hoodless but found the site terribly unreliable)

I see etrade offers very low commission prices, and no account charge as long as you trade at least twice a quarter, been trying to do a bit of reaseach on this site to find if they had good/bad reviews, but it seems not many people seem to use them, is this for any reason i.e. are they known to be bad, or do the likes of selftrade (which will most likely be who I'll use if etrade turns out not to be so hot)

Do you know their Customer base ??

In my opinion E Trade are by far the best Online Broker in the U.K.

Best Fills, Best Prices, Best Website
