Anyone know how i buy shares and a good website that's easy to navigate so I can buy some and watch them 'grow or fall'? What are shares and how do they work?
Sorry I'm stupid.

This is just a fantasy portfolio game to see what you sort of do. Obviously the amounts are a lot of different to actual, as you start off with £100k!
Just get used to the buying and selling etc.
Then do some research about picking shares. Plenty of sites if you google and theres bounds to be on that site above.
Then actually trade, theres loads of them out there; halifax sharebuilder, td waterhouse etc. but they all depend on how often you want to trade etc.
Also, gambiling with shares is quite risky. Funds are less risk because they are more diverse.
And finally, investments are longterm products. Typically 5-10 years (the longer the better, usually).0 -
The FT website https://www.ft.com has a great free portfolio tool too.0
