I have got ten balloons i need bloing up with helium, i already have the balloons but need to either buy some helium or get a loan of some... anyone got any ideas... i have been to asda and a kit costs £20.00 but that is a little bit too expensive.
Anyone on this forum got a can of helium with a bit left in the bottom who lives near south shields who can fill 10 baloons for me? They are for my nanas 90th birthday and it has been a challenge already to get the balloons with 90 on let alone get the helium.
I would be very gratefull and it would make an old woman very happy.

Florists sometimes sell helium balloons, maybe they would let you have a squirt or 10 and not charge you too much? Especially if you bought a bunch of flowers at the same time if you can afford it! And told them what it was for ...Signature removed for peace of mind0

Have you tried your local card shops?, We have a 'Birthdays' shop which inflates them for around 30p each0

Or here's an idea if you live anywhere near a BOC site - we had helium balloons for our wedding and I got the helium cylinder from the Wembley site. The staff are very helpful and friendly - if you live anywhere near one of these sites, try going to the place (the Wembley one is like a shop) and asking what they would charge to inflate 10 balloons.
You can find out more about locations at http://www.multimap.com/clients/places.cgi?client=boc_test
I am suggesting this because it cuts out the 'middle man' of a specific balloon place
P.S. I like the idea of a 'loan' of helium - how were you intending to return it?
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0
