Sorry if I'm being a bit thick here but....
I need a phone for our upstairs and the only phone line is in my daughters nursery which isn't ideal. Downstairs we have a Bang and Olufsen phone which allows you to plug the phone in to mains and then has a seperate boxy thing with a plug and phone line which transmits the signal over so basically you can move the base unit anywhere in the house where there's a plug socket without having a phone point.
I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a similar phone that does this without the B&O price tag. Do all cordless phones do this? Sorry I really am quite a phone-phobic.
I know the alternative it to run an extension but this would be quite tricky in our house.
Thanks
Lx

You just need to buy a twin pack of cordless phones, use the main one at your telephone point, the other one anywhere near a mains socket.
Cost around the £20 mark.0 -
i brought a bt phone from currys which dose just that £290

just about any twin/triple/quad phone pack does that. 1 phone connects to the line + mains, the rest just to the mains (for the recharging)Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0
