The weather is very wet today

Is anyone saving the water and investing for the future by storing the water ahead of the global warming catastrophe?

Actually, I'm spending £227,395 on a watertight bomb shelter for my crummy studio flat in Brixton for just such an occasion.
Oh wait... my studio is on the 9th floor... might have to think of somethign else! Hope my bomb shelter deposit is refundable!

Actually water is a hot commodity. China will have to spend billions on purifying contaminated water in the next 5 years.

Don't go scaremongering... people will suddenly start hoarding water and there will be none left for the people that need it !!!!! :D

I've got 5 water butts, which are brimming!
Didn't use them at all this summer, because it was so damn wet, so plants didn't need watering.
I'm on a meter, so save water as much as possible.

Any ideas what to do with all that rainwater through the winter??

    Nice change of subject :D

I hope that certain BBC journalists are not looking at this. They may hint at rumours of upcoming water shortages, and hoarding of water, in the 6pm news. They may speculate that some foreign owned water companies are likely to restrict supplies to UK consumers while allowing the taps to run freely in their home countries. This could lead to hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of householders filling their baths, buckets, and saucepans, thus causing a run on the reservoirs. Brown will be forced to announce that your first 50 gallons a day are guaranteed, even though with some water companies you may have to have the first 25 gallons shipped in from abroad.

Your views on the water potential in Asia?
India and China have huge water problems. Water could be the next big investment. And, the best way is to invest in water companies which clean it, transport or pump it. Find the water companies that solve the water problem and you could be the richest person in India.
