Problems logging into KE

Anyone else having problems logging into Kaupthing Edge? It keeps saying I've entered my details incorrectly - but I'm not!

No. I just logged in now and it works fine...
I would say call customer services, but it is very busy today!!!

I get that now and then - it rejects one of my letters from my memorable word , even though it's ok

If it's the first letter from your memorable word, it needs to be upper case, not lower case. Did you do that?

Just tried, works fine.

The first letter of your memorable work is usually a capital.

And I find my date must be in reverse order i.e. if it was today: 20081007 rather than 07102008.

Impressed they have updated their info on protection and safety, when you login too - adds to a bit of reassurance.

I don't log in that often but since I opened my a/c back in May 2008 KE have instructed me during the login to change my memorable word. This has happenned 4 times. Anyone know why they keep telling me to change it.

Oh ...no i didn't know that !

(but it seems to be the 2nd letter....anyway...doesn't matter anymore ! )

so that third party people can't guess it. I think they ask to change it every month (or maybe even fortnight). if you type the one your currently using in the three boxes you are able to access your account nonetheless (tips given by an KE employee, isn't that the best customer service ever )

I've had the same problem. But eventually it will accept, without upper case first letter.
I'll bear it in mind though, for next time (if there is a next time )

It's fine for me... also my first letter of my word isn't a capital letter.

I will try typing it into the 3 boxes next time it happens cos I am running out of memorable words which I can remember.
