  • I see I am not alone - Withdrew on Sunday - it was recorded as gone until yesterday and now it is back. It is the fraudulent BACs system that really gets my goat here - lets have a campaign for ABSOLUTE transparency with money transfers - and where you money is NOW available for customers to see at any time day or night !

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the DPA only covers data that they hold. So if they didn't record the call, or enter any notes on it in their system, they don't have to provide you with anything.

Even more frustratingly, it turns out that Icesave have acted entirely within the terms of their accounts - see my post just before yours http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=14810379&postcount=38 - so amazingly they haven't done anything wrong. Although I do wonder if the clause could be legally challenged as being "unfair"
They confirmed that the call was being recorded - thus the request for transcript.

During the conversation I also said that I felt I had been racially discriminated against by the bank/icelandic government/icelandic compensation scheme because I had read somewhere that the Icelandic compensation scheme was going to compensate Icelandic investors but not foreign investors.
