Very variable. I've had items arrive the next day, but generally a few days is what it takes on SP. Then, about 1 in 30 don't arrive ever. If it costs more than £8 on SP then I recommend using parcelforce 24 via https://www.interparcel.com and it costs £9 inc VAT, with the advantage of it being signed for.Happy chappy0

Doubt it very much..... usually at least 2 days for standard parcels, but I suppose it depends on how far it's travelling etc etc0

The loss rate on SP is appalling. It must be something like 1:25 parcels that don't arrive for me.Happy chappy0

Yep, sounds like the situation I am in at the moment. Bought a baby's snowsuit from Jojo Maman Bebe, despatched on the 22nd November and still not arrived. Really cross as its really cute!"I've fallen down a hole" - said in best Monty Python voice-over.0 -
12 weeks is my record waiting for a parcel and I think that was only finally delivered because i made such a fuss about it and they eventually gave up and 'found' it. It was a very odd and unusual quirky item and I threatened to go to the local press as it would have made an amusing article (I wouldn't have gone to the press as I value my privacy too much).
I got £12 compensation for the delay.
Usually though it is about the 5 days for me.

I think I'm in the process of getting an undelivered Standard Parcel. It's been a few dates and my gut feeling is that it won't arrive.
Anybody know where Standard Parcels disappear to if neither the receiver or sender gets it back?I know nothing0 -
Yeah, the RM workers mum/dad/girlfriend/boyfriend/kids gets something on Xmas morning. Maybe they get a lucky dip bag - or maybe that is me being cynical having lost so much in the post. As I sell underwear I can always picture the faces of the girlfriend on Xmas morning if it is the wrong size. Xmas time is always sorse though and more go missing this time of year. I never use PF and prefer to use Postvan or Parcel2go as they always arrive. I did not know people were still using ParcelForce? Doesn't anyone know how dire they are? 3-5 days for a parcel, I'd pay the option of a few extra pounds and get it by courier every time! The woman at the Post Office told me that it has got worse since they started using temps!!
Seriously though - apparently any 'lost or undelivered' mail goes to some place in Irlend. Maybe this is when they get to take it home, LOL!!0 -
yeah I heard of the ireland thing too..some one I know, had to wait for the return of thier special delivery, that never arrived. Unfortuantly he had put the wrong house number on it ...... its not always RM at fault.
The PO now does the postcode checker..has that improved things ? Or not? I always have my address on it too, if I am sending. But I have to say that unlike others I have had no trouble with RM and just heaps upon heaps with couriers. From missing parcels, damaged items, to inflated prices and and worse of all ebayers coming back to me having sold the item and saying...oh my courier wont deliver there at that price.... can we send it elswhere or I will have to charge extra!!!! Arrgggghhhh.0
