hi, can anyone help me i'm looking to get my missus a pair of ugg slippers as a surprise. Not sure where to start looking for the cheapest priced ones and also which stores can be trusted to sell the genuine articles. She did try a pair on in bluewater a couple of months back so i know her size.

    thanks

http://www.office.co.uk/womens/ugg_australia/scuffette_ii/30/7452/19989/1?fs=7452 ? Depends what size and style, some are in sales online. Try shudoo/very with a discount code otherwise.

I just got some chocolate uggs in a size 3 from office for £99 :) Yay for fitting into kids shoes! They also have chestnut and sand in a 3, and chocolate in a 4! shoodoo never seem to have the kids in stock in a size 3 so no 20% discount for me :(
Living cheap in central London :rotfl:
  • I did check prices out on line but decided to buy from the shops instead because my step daughter bought on line and her skins don't quite match in thickness at one point on the foot puff part despite being genuine Ugg, she was told this is to be expected in a natural material, fair comment, but it bugs her and it would bug me. I bought mine from Schuh and insisted on a 10% discount which they gave me as "good will", there are some flyers on the sales desks where you can text to a number and they send you a code to present for the 10% reduction but I told the sales manager I didn't have the time to faff around. It took several pairs for me to find a pair which I was happy with colour match/skin wise and I'm really pleased I got to check first.
  • The Ugg name was originally owbed by a company in Newquay Cornwall who sold it off to UGG Austrailia, the company which used to make the uggs in Newquay still make sthe boots, though now called Celtic Sheepskin Boots which my wife buys from every year apart from last year when she tried Emo ugg and they were not a patch on the quality she's used to, she's now gone back to Celtics again!:j the fact that they're not flown in from Oz helps the enviromental impact too, all Celtic boots are made in Newquay Cornwall and hand finished! keeping jobs in the uk too!
I've also seen some big stars on telly wearing them so they must be good!

I think you need to check your facts on the Ugg name as well as that originated in Australia in 1958 and most definitely not in Cornwall.

Of course, the whole tone of your post sounds like an Ad for Celtic sheepskin and if I were a cynic.....

Having just searched LEEBIE58's posts I see an almost identical one from 2007.

I have to say Celtic I am VERY disappointed in you. Throughout these forums we have always said that Celtic were a good brand and the fact that you feel the need to send someone here to 'big up' your company by telling lies and half truths has probably damaged your reputation here more than you know.

A big thumbs down to Celtic Sheepskin from me.
