Does anyone have any information and/or experience on appling for grants.

We are a small School looking to make/construct a garden for our children.

Are there any grants open to us as a PTA to apply for?

Thanks in advance

I would always go for A4A first - easy to get, quick turnaround. Your local CVS (Google your town and CVS) will have software to help you source other funding.

Looking at your name I take it you are in Wales !!!! Try
http://www.awardsforall.org.uk/wales/index.html ( if you are not in Wales just click UK !!!)
Our PTA has applied independently of the School as Awards for all have now changed their rules.
You can apply if you are a not-for-profit group or you are a parish or town council, school or health body.
You must have a bank account that requires at least two people to sign each cheque or withdrawal.
You must use the grant within one year.

Might be worth checking your local landfill operators website to see if they have any grants in place, all the one's local to me do, using the landfill credits scheme.
