Recycling Elbow Crutches/sticks

Hope this is the best place for this post!!

At my work we have about 50+ crutches/walking sticks that we are unable to issue to patients for health and safety reasons (i.e. patients must have brand new ones to purchase). Most are in perfect condition and others may just be missing the ferules off the bottom.

If i dont find somewhere for them to go, they will just be thrown out which seems an awful waste. Does anyone know anywhere we could donate them to or whether charities would accept them for use in other countries??

Any thoughts would be great otherwise the metal masher will be having them!!

Thanks
