Inner tube sealant (for bikes) - any good?

Since I've had my bike I've had a very slow puncture that (strangely) only ever seems to let out air overnight - I can cycle all day without the tyre losing pressure, but the next day it's completely flat.

Anyway, I was thinking about getting some inner tube sealant that sloshes round the inside of the tyre, and sets hard as it tries to escape through any punctures, plugging the hole. Like this: http://www.ukbikestore.co.uk/Product/103/SLIME_SEALANT/ukbs/slime-inner-tube-sealant.html

I just wondered if anyone has any experience of the stuff? Is it as good as it sounds?
