I found this on a friends computer. To get rid of it I had to download an uninstaller for hotbar. I guess a google search for "unistall hotbar" might find it - that's what I did. Here's some information:

Have you run scans with AdAware and/or Spybot or similar?
The Symantec website says it has a removal tool. If you do a google search for adware hotbar there are a lot of sites with info.Torgwen.....................

C:\RECYCLER\ is part of your Recycle Bin so just empty it.0

Chippy's idea is a good one but it might not get rid of it entirely. Here's the Symantec fix referred to above....

It was the symantec security check that picked it up.
Ad-aware -clear
Avg - clear
spybot -clear
Ewido didn't spot it either?
I have googled it and it just says:-
This is not a virus or a trojan. It is detected as a "potentially unwanted program." It is a search toolbar and direct-marketing adware application that generates pop-up advertisements while browsing the web.

Trouble is those "automated fixes" don't always work for everyone. Sometimes it's a case of resorting to HijackThis and other "deep delve" tools to find its exact location and pull it out manually. Like rooting out bad teeth with a pair of pliers when pills and potions don't fix the ache!
If all fails post back with your HJT log and I'll have a look at it.0
