Business accounts - are they covered to £50K too?

Martin Lewis is telling us that our savings are covered up to £50k, but how does this affect business accounts? My husband and his father have their own business and currently we have one business account where all the funds are. We are worried that we won't be covered a)because we are a business and it's treated differently -(is it?) and b)all our funds are in the one account.

We've looked at the FCSA website which didn't help much, and spoken to the bank who were VERY vague about it and couldn't give us hard evidence that we would be ok.

I am hoping someone on the forum might have found the information we need to put our minds at rest... it's a very worrying time for everyone.
