    Good morning all!

LOL at debtfreesomedays chicken incident! You wouldn't believe it would take that long to cook a chuckie!!

    Well here's my list today.....

    * Made a cottage pie for tea using up some left over veggies and some rubbery potato's!

    * Will NOT have heating on today.

    * Look at doing some more ebaying

  • Today, I have:
    • Brought in lunch to work (home made and home grown pumpkin and chilli soup - yum!)
    • Checked online banking
    • Checked quidco
    • Read papers online at lunchtime
    • Have another NSD
Budgeting has gone really well this month and we should have a surplus of about 160 quid to chuck in the savings account.

I am also resolving to use my lunch hours to research and write extracts from a book I've been writing for some time, its taking shape now and you never know it could be my turning point for 2009 :j

    Keep positive everyone!
    Unsecured debt 2008 c £45,000
Current unsecured debt February 2016 £1,734.85
  • Yup - I think it may have cooked quicker if I'd stuck it in the airing cupboard!

Morning All:hello: Thanks Sophiesmum et Al

Well today I shall definitely be sparkly :D Here's my list:
    • HM soup for lunch with HM bread
    • I batch cooked last night; so soup for lunch and evening meals for AGES sorted ;) And I did a bit of an experiment. I baked 3 potatoes in the bottom of the oven while I was cooking other things, and I'm hoping that I can microwave them at work and it will be like an oven baked potato - I hope so anyway.
    • washing at 30, line dried (I've an indoor airer, if I'm organised enough I can dry things quite efficiently throughout Winter)
    • Gym MS tonight - I'm going to be sorry when this one finishes.
    • Budgeted 20p for my coffee tonight, at my Drama Society, otherwise nothing else to buy.
    • Check for more MS today, I need to maximise my income this month as there are flights to be paid for.
I'm sorry to admit that I have only got as far as photographing stuff, and not yet listed anything on e-bay. :o But I've put aside some time tomorrow evening for that.

Thanks Norton blade and Piquant - sparkly idea!!
I have two books in the car that are v overdue - you have just reminded me - is it possible to copy you all and look sparkly and fabulous in a waterproof jacket and a wooly hat whilst returning them???? - I may well try it!!.

I might be skint, but there's no excuse not to look sparkly and fabulous :T My boyfriend moans when I'm a bit too sparkly though because it gets everywhere and he goes into work looking like Tinkerbell.

I told him that he'd make a lovely drag queen... he didn't seem too impressed though! :rotfl:

Hi all - Happy Tuesday! Everyone seems in really good spirits today and I have enjoyed reading it. Am going to try extra hard today to save more.
    * Done daily clicks
    * Done daily free scratchcards - did anyone else notice you can do them twice today?
    * Went to Morrisons to ask if they have any evening/weekend work going - unfortunatley answer was no but will keep asking in retail park.
    * Still battling to get Home Insurance via cash back site with Halifax
    * Made lunch from home made bread, donated cheese and pickle, soya yoghurt (picked up about 10+ from local Autumn show at weekend).
    * Going to mum & dad's for tea
    * Want to find more ways of earning vouchers online - any other suggestions apart from Pigsback?
    * Will take library books back and get some more.
    * Trying to find lots of things to do next week as have time off work but no money - so going to gym each day to make use of membership before it runs out - visit parents & aunties (both sets) during day to help out with any chores (hopefully get lunch donated!) Could get extra work I suppose but idea of time off is to be with OH. Going to National Trust properties as am a member but have only been a few times this year - will take picnics with us! Perhaps find a cheap away day ticket by train or bus.
    1 debt in 100 days £48.43/£374 - over 10% paid!

    Stash busting 3/20 projects completed
