i want to know how messing is skimming and if its worth getting it done compared to putting lining paper and painting.
is there alot of dust ?

Not a lot of dust for a building site but if doing at home you mix it out side and then stick it in a bucket. Though I would not recommend doing it yourself if your not competant as its surprisingly a hell of a lot harder than plasterers make it look.

If you can afford it, it's worth doing.

just had mine skimmed looks and feels fantastic, get it done, not too messy0

It looks great. It is inconvenient but it's not all that messy - they will mix outside so there's not too much dust. It stinks when it's drying out but it's only a couple of days.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
