I've had beef & chunky veg soup for tea with plenty of bread to dip in, followed by sharing a huge pack of giant buttons with the kids, then just had a slice of toast & some sweets but I'm still hungry!!!

Back from Southampton. Have to pop back next week too but at least I'm back now, showered & fed

The eating 8 spiders a year thing is an internet hoax, dreamed up by someone back in the 90's to see how easy it was to get people to believe totally random & made up facts they read on the internet or in emails So don't worry as a spider has more sense that to walk itself to certain death straight into someones open mouth :rotfl:

I've got to pick BF up from the airport in the morning so may not be around for a while tomorrow - so let me just leave this huge hug here for Cheeky for when she pops back in

Well I think I'm done for the day... so tired, just not sleeping again (thought I'd got out of that cycle back in May ). Working tomorrow too (I hate six day weeks) so should get some rest.

I have loads of fireworks going off outside that I can hear tonight. Seems fireworks night has come early again this year Anyone else in the same boat?

Oh talking of boats... on Radio 2 tonight when I was driving back, someone texted into the DJ to ask for some 'boaty' music as they were on board a boat, the DJ couldn't think of any & asked for people to call in with ideas. I'm thinking it would be linked to boats but can't think of anything off the top of my head other than that song by the Nolan Sisters Don't make Waves - anyone able to think of any others?
