How to Make Door Frames

I need to install fire doors into my house. This weekend I am starting to put the new stud work in and the frames for the door. But I am slightly confused.
How do you create the door frames and is there anything special to do?? I am getting a proper joiner to actually fot the doors and frames but I am just making the shell that hols it all up.
If that makes sense.

You can normally buy rebated door frames from DIY shops. Or, if you are in the trade, open an account with Howdens and get the doors and frames etc from there. My suggestion and/or advice is my own and it is up to you if you follow it, please check the advice given before acting on it.0

Go to Howdens, open a cash account and see if they'll come down a bit on their price. As long as they are within their margins, they should. I used to work there. My suggestion and/or advice is my own and it is up to you if you follow it, please check the advice given before acting on it.0

Why are you fitting fire doors?
Is your house to be let as an HMO or will it be subject to a lettig licence?
If yes, then there are a few other things you need to consider too, like closers and fire resistant hinges & locks/handles etc
We recently fitted 6 fire doors and we bought them as ready to install firedoor/frame sets. One of the doors had to go into a new stud wall, and my OH built this the usual way but dry lined it in fire resist 'pink' plasterboard and installed fire resist insulation (I think..!)0
