Having trouble opening some websites

Don't have trouble with any others so far, but I can't seem to be able to open these websites.

http://www.landlords.org.uk/

http://www.britishlegion.org.uk/

I asked a mate to try it on his computer, no problem.

so why me ?

Using Vista, Virgin cable broadband.

All I can think of, is it must be something to do with my security settings.

Sorry I didn’t reply to your post, but I thought, after a few hours, no one could help me, and therefore didn’t check to see if I had any answers,
Anyway, have done the clearing of just about everything, but still have the same problem.
But what I have found out is all (I think) the web sites I’m having trouble with end in .org.uk
If it ends in just .org I have no problem.

Not working for me loaner

All I get on your link is some blue writing.

same as I get if I google the website.

If I put in the normal web address, I get
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Have asked the question on loads of web sites but still no joy

The websites I can't get onto all end with .org.uk if it ends in just .org it works fine

anyway, I'll give your idea of trying 'firefox' ago.

Did try Google Chrome , but same thing happens.
