Using both at the same time gives more dramatic impact I find. e.g.
I just heard a rumour from a bloke in the street, MY BANK IS GOING TO GO BUST!!!!!!! please please please HELP ME!!!!Krusty & Phil Madoff, 1990 - 2007:
"Buy now because house prices only ever go UP, UP, UP."0 -
Lots of 'h's on the end of an Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh works for me.
Add the capitals/multiple exclamation marks if it does it for you.Mortgage Free thanks to ill-health retirement0 -
Don't forget, you can make it big and red as well as all the others. Hell, why not add italics too? Like this:
AAAARRRGGHHHHHHH, MY BANK IS GOING UNDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I am a Chartered Financial Planner

The original and the best:
DOOM, DOOM, WE'RE ALL DOOMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
I think the essential ingredients are the following phrases:
"HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"ICELAND [Insert pretty much anything here]!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
(Ditto ICESAVE and KAUPTHING EDGE)
Any exaggeration of statistics is preferred, together with over-dramatic language, for example "The Krona NOSEDIIIIIIVED!!!! against the EURO today by 2874928427192347%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
And, any mention of all of our certain DOOM and LOSS OF ALL OUR MONEY is a real must have for that perfect scaremongering post.
IDEA: Perhaps there should be a minimum amount of characters, say 25, in between exclamation marks? It feels like making cars that wont go above 30mph for those who suffer from road rage... might calm them down a bit.Target Cash Net Worth: £25K by January 2012

Umm, I was hoping this was going to be thread to vote for banning of such in posting titles. I like the idea of a cap on the ratio of capitals (excluding bank names of course as they are essential) and !!!!!!! to other characters in the body of posts.
Anyway, realised I can't add anything to the other posts...its all been said..
However, just remember to hold back and not be the first of us to end up posting:
S*** THEY WERE RIGHT !!!!!!!!!!0 -
Haha, well, we'll have to see about that one!
Of course, if the worst did happen, we'll blame their scaremongering for being a self fulfilling prophecy. Or, blame Peston, the evil bank killer.
EDIT: I just noticed something AMAZING (if you're a weirdly fond of nice numbers person like me). My last post was my 300th, and EalingSaver's last was his/her 100th! Happy birthday (ish) to us! :beer:Target Cash Net Worth: £25K by January 2012

Happy birthday/thing to you to. And this ensures my 101st is under your 301st, unless some other b*****r has got in first.LucyTheDwarf wrote: »EDIT: I just noticed something AMAZING (if you're a weirdly fond of nice numbers person like me). And its a 'he'. In hindsight, EalingSaver is a little too impersonal, should have chosen something else.0
