not very technical, advice needed

simple query; is it best to have as many possible anti-virus softwares and security softwares running as possible or is just one good one best?

only 1 anti-virus and 1 firewall is recomended
you can use a couple of anti-spywares ,because what one does not pick up
the other may find

Short answer is no, as they will conflict with each other if running at the same time. Best to have an excellent all round Internet security protection program which should include anti virua and firewall.
You can have more than 1 anti-spyware running, although personally I don't. I use the one with my interent security package, but have another which I can run at any time should the need arise.My suggestion and/or advice is my own and it is up to you if you follow it, please check the advice given before acting on it.0
