Hello,
I am looking to buy a cheap printer that will not cost too much for ink refills.
I have been searching around the net and got bamboozled!
I am going to use for mainly prinitng black and white docs (essays/word docs) and was thinking laser printer?
Budget less than £50.
What are opinions on All-in-One Printers? I thought it might be handy but is it worth it?:rotfl:
Any ideas would be great thanks!:j

I would recommend any Epson All-in-one printer, you will get fast printing speeds with good quaility, and the ink catridges are cheap. I also use mine as a photocopier and the scanner is excellent too. They are almost always on offer in Tesco's, Asda's and PC world.
The most important thing will be the cost of the replacement cartridges not the original cost of the printer.0 -
Epson do seem to be the cheapest cartrages, especially if you buy the jettec ink cartrages with twice as much in.
I know laser cartrages/toners are expencive but I don't know how long they last.0 -
currys had a printer a couple of weeks ago for less than £20 , it think it could have been hp or similar
although it's not very green , it would be cheaper to use until the ink ran out then get a new one0 -
I'd also recommend a cheap Epson. I bought a dx3800 a couple of years ago and its been great. Scanning and copying are good and the printer aint bad either. I wouldn't recommend any cheap home printer for photos.
I use cheap ink for it too and I've only ever had one bad lot but at ~£6 a set (all 4 inks) I cant complain.0 -
