Warning plus Urgent/serious advice/help needed re: some sort of spamming

I am getting e-mails apparantly from everyone I have ever e-mailed whether friends, family, companies saying I have sent them an e-mail with this (pasted below) on.

has anyone else had this and does anyone know what can i do about it - apart from annoying everyone - more seriously all their e-mails addresses are now known to this person/organisation to do what they want with and am really, really concerned that whoever it is has accessed/can tell what e-mail addresses are in my mail box. It's a good chance it has been genertated from something I sent off for on here - so warning to all.

V. concerned - can anyone help or tell me what to do - can they access the whole of my laptop, read things or just somehow find e-mail addresses? Does anyone know how I can stop it.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Not had that but certainly sounds like some kind of trojan or spyware

    Get the following:

Ad-aware - free anti spyware - use google to find the company is lavasoft

Spybot s&D - free anti spyware - use google the company is safer-networking

Housecall - free online virus scan - again use google and the company is trend micro

Finally, AVG - this is a free anti-virus programme, should be able to find it on, you guessed it, google!

ad-aware, spybot and AVG will all need to be downloaded and then run. Housecall will scan your computer from the internet.

Hoepfully running all of this will clear your computer of all nasties!

I've had that happen to me before and quite a few of my friends have aswell, all on hotmail. They seem to somehow hack into peoples email addresses then send an advertisement to everyone on your list, check your sent mail, it will be all be there, then delete them and change your password.

I have just posted a link for a free copy of Norton 2009. Probably a very god idea if you follow it and run a scan. Does look like you have a trojan. Search the freebies board for my post 'free norton internet security' or follow this link http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=14756279#post14756279
Best of luck sorting it out
Freebies you don't really need can be given to your local Hospice Charity shop so they can raise funds they desperately need. Pass on your good fortune :A

Hi, I don't wish to worry you but I had a similar type of thing come to me a few days ago, next day I realised that my hotmail and ebay accounts had been hacked, you might want to change all your passwords to email/ebay accounts etc and get your friends who have been sent this email to as well.
