Regarding the email notification of new posts to subscribed threads... would it be possible to include the actual text of the new post with the email notification? Rather than just a message saying "there's a new post".

We used to have it on MSE but it was stopped as it could be that the post made which caused the email notification was deleted for good reason and so the text is no longer available in the email you get.0

Hmmm... I can understand that I guess, but it seems a shame to lose the functionality just for that. I get the notifications by email on my phone, and it's annoying to check the "new post" only to find out it's someone just saying "Thanks" etc...1
