  • i initiated chaps transfer from icesave yesterday. said would go at 11am this morning. haven't a clue where i stand - is the money still in icesave or will it go? not clued up on the legalities of chaps. is it from the time you request it or from when it's sent or processed or when it arrives?!

  • Guys / Gals,

Apparently, Landsbanki, the parent of ICESAVE has gone into liquidation this morning. The board has been sacked by the Icelandic government and talks are currently ongoing to nationalise the bank!!!! All withdrawls and deposits have been suspended!

I have several years cash ISA in there and hope this passport system works out!!

This is becoming a nightmare, nowhere is safe!
