Recycle for tesco points

Tesco no longer have a list of where the automated machines are.

The 'parent' article to this thread said "Clubcard points for recycling" but I can only find recycling mentioned on some Tesco shop websites. Not obvious which have the nmeans to pay points against items recycled.
Any pointers?

In short the clubcard points are given for aluminium cans (2cans = 1point) recycled at the machines located in some Tesco Extra stores.

Both of our local recycling machines have been closed (reebok bolton and wigan) and replaced by recycling bins. Has this happend anywhere else. Has the recyling points scheme closed

The same has happened at the three major Glasgow stores in Scotland machines are turned off and recycle bins in front of the machines - seems to many were abusing the system to claim extra points so I was told at the customer services and the collector of the cans has went out of business.

The machine in Maesteg "has reached the end of it's life" and is being replaced with bins. No more points for aluminium cans. As far as I know the one at Gellihirion Estate in Pontypridd is working fine.

My local recycling machine is still working, although there are posters saying it will close. I recycle cans at least once a week but I haven't had any points on my Clubcard online statement since the middle of June even though the machines say I've earned them. Has anyone had points awarded from these machines recently?

The Tesco Irlam machine has now gone too.

more probably Mr T was losing money on the materials and thats the real reason they have been pulled. shame, now i just put all that stuff in the council bins which may or may not get recycled.
