Thanks for all of that Mand, I'll look right into it tomorrow.
I think I'm going insane. I currently have 89 items on eBay and 71 on Amazon. ALL on eBay listed at 99p start with a view I dont care what they fetch as long as they fetch something (and cheaper list fees!)
I used to sell high volume a long time ago, so its no concern when it comes to packaging this stuff up. I've kept ROLLS of bubblewrap and boxes and boxes of boxes haha so I'll be ok that way, but I think my brain might stand up and tell me to !!!!!! off soon - gonna have to stop in case I make mistakes but I just want them on auction and out of my way so to speak! Ju's vinyls have been on less than three hours and at least six have bids so that's cool. I'm just waiting for all of the wedgwood vultures to come and land on my antiques with a 99p start. I genuinely think that they reckon that because it starts at 99p it will finish that way too. Oh well, maybe they'll get some serious bargainsNo chocolate, cosmetics or clothes to be bought before xmas day 14! ~ NPower eBay target £541.670 -
Good Morning Everyone!
Busy day today. Three of my kitchen appliances decided to break - washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher so the Hotpoint geezer will be taking up all of my kitchen space for goodness knows how long today. Coupled with the fact I've no idea when he'll be coming is a bit of a nuisance. I've got the European clothes mountain in the consevatory, in binbags! So here's hoping he fixes the washing machine. It's been broken for just over a week and I've been hand-washing the smalls etc so although we've been quite economical there are SIX! yes, six bin bags of clothes and bedding to wash (two of my kids have problems bed wetting) and there's only so much I can do by hand really (no washing line - gonna change that!) I don't use the dryer much, but it comes in handy when in a hurry and I've missed having it! I'd never ever take another Hotpoint appliance. We've had three years of hell with these ones.
So what will I do today? eBay, I'm sick of looking at. Currently 96 auctions on and I didn't finish listing his vinyls or my wedgwood, so there's more to do tomorrow. Amazon has been as dead as a dodo - three days since my major listing, I've resigned myself it could take a while
I think I'm going to concentrate on tidying the house, and when I get time I'll take a look at my credit files. Very scared though in truth
Have to ring the PCO to record the dispute with my neighbour last week (I think she's gone doo-lally!) and still haven't managed to get through to that NPower scheme number I'd mentioned either!

Good Morning All!
Hope you're all well.
I've been quiet for a few days because I think last week has taken it's toll and I'm shattered!
I found more post I'd squirreled away and opened it. My Vanquis debt seems to be being pursued by three DCA's, and the one I paid (after opening a letter from Vanquis in August) appears not to be the one it was sold to in the first place, so I'm concerned whether payments I did make would register.
My auctions are doing ok and I'm still clicking away
Got the three broken appliances fixed yesterday (in record time too!) so am happier than I was, struggling on washing by hand is a nightmare. So glad I wasn't born a century ago!
Seem to have hit a 'nothings happening' bump in the road today. So going to package up parcels that need to be sent, and get them down to the PO sharpish before I lose the will hehe.
Still haven't got hold of these Npower scheme people and am getting a bit concerned. Gonna have to ring the main line again and try to find out more. It could mean the debt is partially written off by them so I can't just let it go!?
Anyway, I'll close now before I ramble on any more - chat soon!No chocolate, cosmetics or clothes to be bought before xmas day 14! ~ NPower eBay target £541.670 -
Hiya,
Just wanted to say good luck doing the DIY DMP (thought I'd reply here rather than take over the other thread!). I found the NDL factsheets so helpful (you can download them or call them and they'll send them out).
Can be very tough but there's nothing like the satisfaction of tackling them yourself and ending up on top!!
Good luck, you're doing brilliantly!

Thanks Fizz. Hit another bump in the road today so not feeling too happy.. I knew there'd be other things I had 'forgotten' about but didn't expect this one
They're so damn aggressive - if they were more approachable it would be soo much easier. I'd not be in this mess now if they were because I would've paid up and not hidden myself! No chocolate, cosmetics or clothes to be bought before xmas day 14! ~ NPower eBay target £541.670 -
Well.
I'd received a letter this morning from a bailiff over a parking ticket which hadn't been paid. Basically I'd written a cheque to cover it, and the bank had bounced it because it had fallen on the day they decided to charge me nearly £100 for bouncing DD's the previous month also because of charges. Isn't it wonderful.
Anyway, it was at a point where I felt like I couldn't cope, and I just stopped opening anything that looked remotely like a debt letter and it's spiralled.
From £80 ish, its gone to £284.10 and I have to pay it all. So I've arranged to pay £35.51 a week for eight weeks. Meaning I have to slog my guts out on eBay now and try to sort something else out with Npower. Isn't it great! The bailiffs were actually quite reasonable on the phone, and the girl was very friendly - listening to me explain then stating what they could/n't do for me.

As your diary name suggests your head is out the sand and things can come along and bite you on the bum. The point is that you aren't running for cover and the bucket of sand! You have made a lot of progress and the fact that you phoned them and faced up to that challenge is brilliant. Keep going you can do this.

Thanks for the plain speaking Lucielle. You're right. It was just an emotional moment receiving that letter this morning. Although I'm trying to fix things, for some reason I think I thought everything would wait for me to get to it haha.
I'm ok now, just NPower to deal with, then the credit files - but they'll have to be another day.No chocolate, cosmetics or clothes to be bought before xmas day 14! ~ NPower eBay target £541.670
