i received a £450 demand from the bailiffs for an unpaid parking ticket ...... now i pay my fines online but there was one we had for parking out side are family garage and it was canceled then a few weeks later same place same parking ticket even thou we had letter apologizing and saying all the wardens knew not to give tickets there.
so same thing again wrote to them this time heard nothing and assumed they had canceled it but now a year later with no letters from the council , court , or bailiffs we receive this luckely when we phoned up we went straight throu to the manager and she said because it was originally wrong she was going to cancel it.
what i don't get is the bailiffs claim the council sent us loads of letters ( which u normally get automatically) and so did the court send one .....lies

I once 'Battered' a Bailiff.
Then sent them the bill.Thomson 757 Man0 -
So the council, the courts and the bailiffs are lying to you?
Do you think it might be a problem with the postal service?
I've just had to pay bailiffs £425 because the local parking scheme claim they didn't get a letter from me. If I'd tried that with them all they would have said is "Well we sent it to you". :mad:0 -

Did you send the letter recorded delivery?, I do for important stuff like that.0 -
Unfortunately I didn't because they had received all letters prior to that one and the bailiffs even received my reply to their letter with a copy of the letter I sent to Parkwise. Funnily enough, the bailiffs didn't reply either!0
