Yes - veg chilli will freeze, but what about Coq au Vin?
Offer with a choice of rice, baked pots, garlic bread and a simple salad.
Spotted !!!!!! & custard for pud
I'd have to refuse the invite. Meat in the main course, and carb-loaded sides and pud

Poultry
Ignore the carbs eat the salad
Guess you'll be avoiding the drinks too, then?
I'll let you have an apple for pud

Veggies don't eat poultry
So they get salad, bread and potatoes
Actually a cheeseboard could work. Might as well melt it though and make it fondue.
(I don't do apples either - full of carbs, innit

OP said no red meat - not "veggie only".

If veggie only - easy. Do Indian food - oops .... carbs though

last i checked poultry isn't a vegetable
(not that im claiming the OH wanted vegetarian food...its just you corrected 'no meat' with 'its poultry'
)
it has to be said, vegetarianism isnt as 'freakish'/faddy as it used to be. I work in an office building that serves lunches and on any given course of 10-20 there will be a couple of veggies.0 -
lightisfading, If you read the op it does say ''No RED meat'' Nowhere have I seen anyone claiming that chicken is a veg:rolleyes: Yes chicken is meat but it's known as a white meat.0

hence my comment 'last i checked poultry isn't a vegetable. Because they responded to 'meat in the main course' with 'poultryOriginally Posted by Debt_Free_Chick
Poultry
'. Which, to my eyes anyway, reads as 'It's not meat it's poultry'.
OK, that was meant to be OP, but I'm sure you got what I meant.Originally Posted by lightisfading

The internet really is good at leading to misunderstandings innit? :rotfl:0
