Share trade in Iceland financial firms suspended

STOCKHOLM, Oct 6 (Reuters) - Share trading in Icelandic financial firms was suspended on Monday at the request of the country's Financial Services Authority, the stock exchange said.
The stock exchange said in a statement the halt covered trading in all financial instruments issued by Exista (EXISTA.IC: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), Glitnir (GLB.IC: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), Kaupthing (KAUP.IC: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), Landsbanki (LAIS.IC: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), Straumur-Burdaras (STRB.IC: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) and SPRON (SPRON.IC: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz).
"This decision is made in order to safeguard the equality of investors while awaiting an announcement," the statement said.

I do apologise for repeating a topic. Not spotted, the earlier post being on page 2. Have been thinking rather too hard today about my savings in Kaupthing Edge.
