I need to stay in Oxford overnight tomorrow and was wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere to stay for £60 or under - Are there any decent websites that list b&b's for the area? Thanks for any help.

Google B&B Oxford and then choose Maps - you'll get lots of choice (and a good idea of how close they are to where you need to be), plus a lot of them are accompanied by reviews. Failing that, go straight to Trip Advisor for reviews, or see if anyone has recommended anything on The Real Visitors Book

The very cheapest B and B gets terrible reviews on trip advisor. If you are still tempted, Google it before booking. I found a couple of newspapers describing it as the dirtiest and most run-down place to stay in the whole of the UK. At which point I decided to look elsewhere, although I am totally skint.
Otherwise, try some of the places listed at

This is one of my favourite websites as it lists almost everything in any area you choose. It's a good starting point...

Just Google the name of any hotel that takes your fancy and see if they have their own website for more details.
My favourite cheap as chips place in Oxford is The Mitre Rooms but they are student accomodation during the year and only available in the summer holidays. Worth bearing in mind if you need to make a return visit.0
