Central Heating engineer in Birmingham?

Hi new to the forum:j
Looking to have a central heating system installed into our house, only have a gas fire at the moment. Had a quote already from British Gas which seemed on the pricey side and have Northern Gas Heating coming round later for a quote.
Anyway I'm looking for a local person, which I'd prefer over a bigger company, and reckon the best way to find one is to be recommended, so if anybody knows someone in the Birmingham area I'd be grateful if details could be passed on. Feel free to pm if you'd prefer.
