Please could someone point me in the right direction, I,m panicking!.
Firstly I have windows XP, and google is my homepage, i use googlemail not outlook express.
Recently I seemed to have a problem loading googlemail. Then i noticed that it is on html view which is for slow connections, instead of on standard view But I know I had Internet Explorer 7, which has always been ok before. So I thought i would just check on this but I can't find any mention on what version of internet explorer I have.
I therefore only have a very basic view, I can't view, add or delete contacts plus some other bits.
I also had a problem before i went on holiday in that a secure site said it didn't recognise my computer or browser or something.,
could any body help?

in IE goto help ->about internet explorer and it will tell you the version you have.
but I doubt it would have downgraded itself. What site did you go on that came up with the prompt and can you go there again and let us know exactly what it said"Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"

Thanks. I have got Internet explorer 7.
Is anyone else having problems with Google? Also my computer is going slow.0 -
Google Mail does that to me sometimes as well, I just switch back and it sorts it out. I think theres an option that comes up when you login, sorry I cant remember its not done it, for a while.
If your computers going slow try running ccleaner to clean out the rubbish that you dont need like temp files and that (dont worry it wont delete any of the files u need just stuff that you dont see)
Also run defraggler to defrag your hard drive this will make it run loads faster.
And also try using firefox or flock, these will run the internet faster and are more secure then IE. Flock is mostly the same browser as firefox, its made by the same people and it acts the same but it set up for networking with built in youtube, facebook, flickr etc.0 -
Try Goolge Chrome better for gmail, its small + fast0
