Hiya, i am currently selling my car and after spending days checking them all out, i have a list that might come in handy for anyone trying to sell their car and attempting to do it without forking out any advert fee's like myself, so thought i'd post it.

One suggestion i would also make is to firstly join a site like ukcarads.co.uk and use the Dial Safe telephone number they provide to redirect to your own phone, free of charge, on all the other ads you put online, to save displaying ur own number

EDIT: I sold my car within 3 hours of putting a few of the free ads on!! But thanks for your note on why people should use fee charging websites!!!

There's a reason why companies like Autotrader can charge the fees they do and that's because they sell cars and have 100,000's of pairs of eyes looking at the adverts, more than all of those sites put together.

yeah i am fully aware of that, i was just offering help to anyone who wanted to give advertising for free a go.

I think autotrader is awesome, i have no problem with the fee charging sites!
