ok in my local store they have got rid of the clearance shelf!!!! I asked a rather grumpy SA (who was overheard to say to another SA recently the fact that everyone complains about her cos she is a miserable mare!!!!) where the clearance was and she said "its gone cosa christmas" apparently they have a brief transition period from the spring/summer into autumn/winter & once this is completed they deem that the clearance shelves are no longer required! what will I do? my dd1 (a bootser in training) said well what do we do now?!

    Hiya,

Gonna try and go to meadowhall tomorrow. Anything in particular to look out for?

Also, what's that cheapest way to get pinkies and does anyone know where to get the mitchum vouchers? ( I know I already have enough to last me for the next 2 years :rotfl: )

Finally, I made a complaint about a store by email and now i have been asked to go and soeak to the duty supervisor, is it worth it because i really don't want hassle and embarassment?

    TIA

Mitchum voucher links are on the first page of this thread.

i'm thinking of making a trip to plymouth myself next week (at least 2 hours on a bus)so will be interested to hear what bargins you find.(mens weekend 1/2 price bag, where are the clearance aeras, any reduced no7/r & m )
also when is the xmas shopping evening TIA

I travel to Plymouth each Saturday and have not yet seen a Fcuk Weekend bag (I look every week). There are no clearance areas or so I was told but if you find one please let me know. Ive never seen any reduced No 7 thats not to say there isnt any but definitely not on a Sat. On the plus side the ladies at the No. 7 tills are brilliant and will try things out for you to let you know the price. However before you purchase make sure they have the pinkies on their tills. The small Boots at the bottom end of town is quite useful but they dont have the same amount of stock. Have not had any probs with any of the assistants, they are all very helpful.

Does anyone know if the 'double-pack' of lynx is going through in the 342 offer ? It was in the last glitch, just wondering if its working this time too.
And any decent clearance in Reading (Oracle or Broad Street branches). TIA.
There was not a lot in Reading on Weds when I went there. They had J&J in the Oracle, loads of SEL for reduced shampoos, etc. Not a lot else of note though - very disappointing.
