chardonnay wrote: »sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it is unlikely you will get anymore eve coupons as the online site eve weekend (which had the coupons) has closed and stated that the oct issue of the mag may be the last.
I dont know anything about the website or the coupon but someone on here said there is a free mascara with the November magazine.2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494

Gah...totally frustrating experience in Boots last night...
ACM had coupon for 1 free 17 Eye Dazzle WYB any other 17 cosmetic product. Was able to print 2 of these. Coupon says "1 per deal", not the usual "1 per transaction". Wasn't sure what this meant so checked with a SA who said it was ok to use the two coupons in 1 transaction (with 2x Eye Dazzle + 2x other 17 item).
Go to checkout 5 mins later with 2x eyeshadows + 2 eye dazzles. Same SA informs me that the two will have to be processed in two separate transactions (bang goes the No7 voucher then). So she puts through the 1st eyeshadow (which is one of the old ones from clearance!) Dazzle coupon works fine so £1.60 to pay.
Next transaction - as 1st transaction but with one of the new solo 17 eyeshadows. 2nd voucher won't scan. According to the till I have not met the minimum spend...which of course is rubbish as coupon says free eye dazzle with any 17 cosmetic purchase...
5 minutes later no less than 4 SAs still have not managed to resolve it. One SA tells me that because the coupon says "1 per deal" I can only use one of the vouchers and I won't be able to use any more - in which case why did the ACM let me print more? If this is the case then the ACM has been programmed incorrectly - not my problem! Same SA said it was because the 2nd eyeshadow was one of the new ones...At one point one of them tried to put through the transaction I had already paid for, so Mr BTVB whipped that one away quick!
None of them were prepared to overide the system and put it through. So then I asked to return the original transaction and get a refund, then put through the stuff intended for transaction 2 with a tub of intensive conditioner. Of course the SA took the refund off the new balance which put it under £5, at which point I had had enough and said void the lot and just refund the £1.60. So she voided it, but didn't do the refund and just handed me my debit card back. Now I know £1.60 isn't much but it's the principle of it, so I had to ask for the refund a 2nd time!
So I ended up with naff all but a headache. I only wanted a couple of eyeshadows and a pinky. In the grand scheme of things it's no big deal, but I've had enough of the attitude of some of the staff in that particular store (with some notable exceptions). Some of you can probably guess which store I'm referring to but I won't name it specifically.
So Mr BTVB will have a go at lunchtime in one of the other storesDFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0 -
Went into boots yesterday to check the latest offers on the machine... Tripple points on bootanics, so i went to the mens section, got myself some things, and they scanned in at 3 for 2. It wasnt advertsised as being on offer, unless they hadnt gotten around to putting up the signs yet, but the tripple points worked on all 3 products. Netted a nice 94 points for a £6 spend.0

Tried again this morning to put the sensitive skin care into my basket to see what discounts apply. I cannot find any sort of code to add to my order as was mentioned last night on this thread. The statement below is actually in the terms and conditions of the Health Club so I guess I must give up on the matter as Im not paying for any of these items at the price stated minus 20% which is all the I am given.
"The offer is available in store only and cannot be redeemed on boots.com or bootsdirect.co.uk".
I really dont understand why this 50% discount should only be applied in store, especially as the majority of the items are heavy and Boots are not like Tescos they do not have a carpark outside the door.2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494

Is the 342 on the mens No7 and GWP and using pinky working instore?
Yes it does work, I got it on Wednesday, I got the mens Face scrub, Face Wash and Body wash, all £6.50. so got 342 and used pinky £8 to pay. The bag looks quite good, same stuff as the gold one, but a man would prefer this bag.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
