    Hi all,

Just a couple of questions; Firstly, I have managed to save £82 on my adv card (thanks to all on this thread!:T) and I have no idea what to spend them on. I don't need anything, have got most of the xmas pressies I want but these points are burning a hole in my pocket! :D

Secondly, I have had to exchange an electric toothbrush today and have just got home to find hubby has bought one from somewhere else quite cheaply. Where do I stand with getting any type of refund when the exchange was made against a item without receipt? Does that make any sense? :o

should be ok i thinks as all the electric toothbrushes boots sell have that little square security stickered thing on them, its the thingy that sets the alarm of if your a shoplifter and has boots logo on so they will know you baught it there, does yours still have this on?

just been on the tesco website and it says from 7th-28th october the slimfast tins are £3.04 :)huge saving compared to boots :) hope you live near a tesco :)

ooops sorry i didnt read that slimfast was 342 *im a dipstick lol*,i will still keep my post here as it may be useful to someone else :)

Yeah, at the Boots.com price, you're paying about 3.33 a tin, plus in Vaz's case, she ordered enough to get points back so it worked out as the better deal. But anyone ordering just a tin or two would have a much better deal at Tesco. :)

  • At the risk of being incredibly annoying and thick....I have spent nearly all evening going over and over this thread and I don't get it...

Are you getting the bargains instore or online? What (or should I say where) are the discount codes?
Ive looked online and can see 3 for 2 offers but thats about it.

Oh lordy, Id say I was blonde, but im not im purple!!

Can someone sum it all up as if I am a two year old please?

No, it has only taken one voucher off your shopping. My reciept says Eb Voucher saving £5 -£5 twice, where yours only says it once. But even if the till is not going to accept both vouchers it still goes through the till with no beeps IYSWIM. The first time i tried with one brush and a set of heads the till scanned the vouchers with no beeps but it still didnt take any money off because it wasnt over £30.
i had to get something else so the vouchers would come off ann THEN it took the money off the total. an my reciept shows TWO savings of £5. hths

Not quite the bargain I originally thought - and I used my one and only electrical ts

Its really hard to notice cos when they were scanned on mine they didnt beep or anything and i thought 'great'. it was only when both had been scanned and the total was still exactly the same as before that i thought 'wait a sec' lol. so it does seem like they go through but they didnt :(
