Credit card debt

in Credit cards
Hi folks,
I have 2 credit cards that I am having problems paying off. The first is a Natwest visa card. Like so many others I took out a personal loan from the bank, obviously I needed money so they offered me a credit card at the same time. Now I have a problem paying the card off (£2000.00). Also I have a Goldfish card (£4000.00). The original limit was £1500.00 but as they do they upped the limit when I got close to it. I called them and asked to have it reduced, which they did, after a while it crept up again to the current £4500.00 limit. I have called them and they offered to increase my debt for ever more (this is my take on what they offered me). Can anyone help me here. I do not need these cards and wish I had never seen them. The banks are providers of misery and the problem is getting worse in this country. I know you will say I took out the account and I am responsable, but I have had various problems, divorce ect. Can anyone tell me the best way to approach them to get a good agreement with them.

I think this thread will be moved to Debt-Free Wannabe board. Meanwhile you can find a lot of similar problems being discussed there ...0
