Its a shame tat i am a tend too old for this when they do start.
I wonder how it will work if only ppl with Valid id to get tickets themselves or if they can get it for others. Will it be in the west end shows or am guessing only certain shows less knowen?
Why have they limited to younger ppl when others would like to go but cant afford it, eg ME!!!

They are still in the planning process so stay glued for any news.
Thats unless they change there minds tat is.

  • I hope this applies to 18-26 inclusive. I turn 26 in November
  • The Government are offering free theatre tickets to 18-26 year olds throughout England. Don't know much about it, just that it starts in february and the scheme is on a first come first serve basis.

Just been on my local theatre website Hull Truck and found this

A Night Less Ordinary - Free Tickets for Under 26’s!
Got the Monday blues – bored by Thursday?
Then why not have a Night Less Ordinary with us here at Hull Truck?
A Night Less Ordinary is an Arts Council England scheme which will provide 618,000 free theatre tickets to anyone under 26 in more than 200 venues (including us) across England, between February 2009 and March 2011.
Yes that’s right we are offering tickets to you for free!
So if you’re under 26 don’t miss out – there’s only a limited number so get yours fast!
How to get your hands on your tickets!
    • Tickets are available Monday – Thursday
    • You can book your tickets in advance but you need to collect them on the night of the performance and show us some proof of age
    • You can book up to 6 tickets but we’ll need to see some proof of age from the other members of your party
    • If you’re under the age of 12 you need to bring an adult with you
    • Tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis
    • If you’re from a community group or a Youth Club we’d love to see you!
    • When booking make sure you say you’re coming for a Night Less Ordinary!
Tickets will not be on sale until the launch of our brand new season of shows
  • Was really hoping for the Apollo Victoria theatre - Wicked! But it seems they aren't taking part :(

Also, anyone got any idea how to sign up?
