does anyone have any ideas what DDcan dress up as on halloween, we are flying on the 31st and she is dissappointed to miss dressing up, her halloween outfit is a bit too "flouncy" to be sitting in for most of the day whilst travelling, i was thinking of a cat mask with ears and a tail? does anyone have any other suggestions?
  • By George she's got it! :j
I'm finally getting the hang of this flying. I arrived home 5 minutes ago. I have put the shower curtain and towels in the washing machine. The shower curtain rings and toothbrushes are in the dishwasher. And I've squirted under the rim of the toilet with bleach. I am going to soak the window blind in the bath with some biological liquid (which hopefully will clean the bath and the blind), while the kettle boils. Then I will sit down and have a cuppa.
Normally I would have just come in and had a cuppa.
It's amazing, isn't it, how having a drink 5 minutes later can make such a difference?
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D

I thought I'd do a 'delete from list check up', and am quite pleased - but please note that I haven't done any of the extra challenges!!

Thanks for the hugs for me and DS2, he needs them , I don't really, I'm far too cross to be cuddled!! I sent in a letter today re the bullying, as DD told me late last night that the girl is also threatening to make false accusations to the police about DD, and boyfriend - what a nasty piece of work!

lil_me - thanks for the tips, luckily I have a good relationship with the school, they know us well, thanks to DS1's eventful life, and are always very prompt with help and information. I missed the posts later last night, but I am sending you calm, clear thinking and positive vibes today for your exam.

My OH worked from home yesterday, sneezed and sniffed all night again, and is off sick today. Not a great one for housework. His idea of tidying is to put everything in one pile, or possibly into envelopes and then in a pile...I don't think he ever throws anything away. He does do the wiping up though, and all the car stuff. So my sympathies with those of you with OH underfoot troubles today! Love Hex's remark about faithful but spectacularly undomesticated!!

I'm doing the main bedroom today, because I started it before I checked the thread. As it isn't raining I think I'll nip down to the allotment to collect some vegetables as we have practically none left at home.

DD will be 6 on NEW YEARS EVE, my timing(her timing?), never was/is any good!!!
  • Oh !!!!!!! Just when I thought I was getting the hang of it!
I went up with the biological liqiud, to soak the window blind in the bath....
but it was too dark to see to get the blind down...so I pulled the light cord...except it wasn't the light cord it was the shower cord...and the shower curtain is already in the washing machine...so the floor got drenched...and I had to use the clean towels to dry the floor because the dirty ones are in the washing machine!
And I still haven't had a cup of tea! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
