Linz, take it slowly. Level 1 if you can. One thing to remember is never do loads because you feel better that day or you'll feel worse for the week. Little and often you'll get there. Vacuuming when sat on the sofa is an art in a small room, but possible. You can turn the hose the other way and feed it under as you sit, push it to where you can reach means you've done more than you would have done just sitting down so is a bonus. Keeping tidy will probably be a key, making whoever uses something puts it away straight away, making sure paperwork is put away as soon as it's read. Leaving it to pile up when lifting/bending is a struggle is a bad idea. See I am great at telling people how to, but trust me it's harder to stick to it :o

boddy, quite possible, I know someone who's found a cat in their garage before after several days etc, something I am very aware of now and triple check, last thing we had stuck was a bird! Scared the heck out of me when he flew past me as I went to go in the freezer. GNR should have seen DS1s face when some people came in the pub still in their fancy dress, inc Indian Squaw (but was a bloke) and an Elvis :rotfl:

    My previous MACAWs -
    1. Make sure things are ready the night before inc packed lunches and uniforms
    2. Empty the dishwasher as soon as possible after it's done
    This weeks
    3. Deal with paperwork as soon as it comes in! (taking some of my own advice, will of course need to clear the backlog too!)
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

Welcome to the newbies & returners...

I can't imagine why both Toots & Mudbath think this is a madhouse... don't normal people spend all their free time online discussing housework  and pegs  and ironing dusters  and putting mooncups in the DW

Incidentally, Linz, if you spot someone actually doing everything on their list on the day they said they'd do it, let Pigpen know as she'll have to start parting with some dog biscuits :p

Valli & TAG - please play nicely with the new flybabies... we don't want them scared off on their first day. Leave it to Toots to lull them into a false sense of security, and restrain yourselves for the first few days of the weeks (after all, Valli, you'll be at work ;) )

Toots - let me know if you need anymore help on the utility stuff. I'll be nagging you to get it done

Mudbath - more pics of Poppy please :D

I'm in again... my Dad's staying tomorrow night, so I'll have to sort a few things out before he gets here (I've just thought, I might be able to get him to put the clock up for me :D although not if it involves a ladder, obviously  )

so no chance of getting to they gym until Wednesday, and I've got an 8.30 start on Thursday (Fraud workshop, that'll be fun  ). So I think I'm going to have to abandon my highly unsuccessful MACAW from last week and follow Dusty's example and try to floss twice a day every day (I have a dentist appointment for a filling coming up, so its a good time to do it).

    Evening everyone (morning DeniseNZ),

Well dinner has been eaten - cake was a bit dry, but tasted nice though - definitely think that it needed the forgotten milk; never mind.

Work clothes in TD along with gym clothes so should be done in time for tomorrow. Oh I just remembered that gym top hasn't been done cos it's white - guess that'll be another load to go on then in a minute.

Hoovered the hall, study and kitchen before dinner. It's a bit late to do the living room tonight cos I've got an elderly neighbour opposite and a toddler upstairs who are both probably in bed asleep by now, and our hoover is very loud.

I forgot to post my MACAW last week, but this week is going to be to go to the gym at least 3 times a week (injuries permitting), so that I can start to see more benefits, and make the most of my membership. I WILL get nice and slim in time for our holiday on 16th November (only 6 weeks to go).

Welcome to the newcomers - I echo the advice given about starting off slowly - even now, I make the mistake of doing loads at the beginning of the week and then doing nothing by the end of it cos I'm too tired.

Glad Poppy is settling in so well mudbath.

Hope everyone who is feeling poorly or injured or tired feel better soon. Big hugs to you all.

    sexymouse xx

Ooh ooh can I come - I bet I could be a right good fraud, me...

Think you're confusing ME with someone else there hun  I ALWAYS play nicely...'n' I didn't MEAN to 2 in a row - I didn't!

I'll need extra motivation this week as I HAVE TO DO ALL MY OWN housework because my ma and pa are off to Halkidiki so my living room won't get visited by mummy fairy! (She dusts round and hoovers because it's ALWAYS nice and tidy so it can be level 3'd in about 20 mins and she doesn't like ironing so I always make sure it's all done - and it is!***glow***)
