Multi-region hack for new dvd player

Hi
My wife bought a fab inexpensive dvd player from Tesco for about £20 yesterday. I've looked around for a hack but cannot find one.
Could anyone advise please?
The model is a DigiLogic DVDH0701

Have you looked on videohelp.com?
Just had a quick look.
Found this (not exact model match though):
1. switch to DVDmode(tv)
2. Press Setup on remote
3. Press next (on remote) 4 times to open Version Screen, your current region setting should appear in top right corner.
4. Use arrow keys on remote to change to 255 for region free
5. Press Setup on remote

I've tried the one above but there is no region setting on the Version Screen
