Some right shoddy savings plans out there (AKA I DONT WANT ADVICE)

I'm not writing this to ask for advice. Just thought I'd express my surprise at how bad some savings plans are.
****** ******* recently sent me details of a 10year plan which had an annual growth rate of 3.6%. That's less than most flexible savings accounts. Obviously I'd never use such a product myself (no advice needed thanks).
Anyway, I'm worried that someone might fall for this. Probably not someone from here anyway.

I dont know why the other thread was closed as it had nothing to do with advice. Indeed, those products are marketed without advice because they would never be offered by a financial advisor as they are very poor (avoiding the asterisks there
)
Perhaps Judi misunderstood what you were saying.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
Perhaps it's the reference to the exact company. I dunno.Happy chappy0
