Way to go J
Best wishes to you, and I can echo your comments about how great they people on this forum are
Medals all around!!!!There are many paths to tread to find true financial enlightenment, some of them are clear of obstacles, others have huge piles of doggie DooDoo in them in which one can easily tread. The journey is not made easier by the fact that the financial institutions blind fold us before we set out on our route.

Well it's now been a year since this thread. Thought i'd give a little update.
Payplan is going well - the people we owed all agreed to it's terms, which was nice.
Council contacted us as we didn't pay them for about a year - which is a pain, but as I've claimed back around £600 in bank charges (and been sucessful) from First Direct we should get most of this paid off by April.
Other than that we managed to clear off the rest of our smaller bills that went a miss somewhere along the lines, and after selling a competition prize last week on ebay for £300 these are all clear.
Next year looks a lot more possitive - we'll still be paying things for two more years or so but it's all getting so much better.
Happy days.0 -
