Well, they are both semis Never, I guess everyone aspires to a detached house, albeit smaller?

Bristol, third behind London? Really? Bath is supposed to be second in the country isnt it? I can tell you that Norwich is a lot more expensive than those houses in Bristol.
  • no solid advice tux.

only 1 question: what's your patience thresh-hold? (correct my spelling, someone).

2, actually: can you hold for 18 months, then look for another dream prop.?

you're about to make one of the most important financial decisions of your life.

    think carefully.

Thanks for that, I must have imagined some of those potential FTB's being ridiculed when they had the audacity to ask for help on this board.

Do they? Detached seems over-rated to me, but each to his own.

I doubt Bristol is 3rd most expensive after London, what about places like the Cotswolds, Henley, Guildford, etc?

Not a great location next to the ring road, and the local comp is crappy too.
The name was just 'stolen' from a nearby road; developers aren't noted for imagination.

And Bath isn't as pricey as it used to be. People there living in 'normal' houses have reduced their prices significantly.
