internet on N95?

hubby recently swapped his n95 which he has on an O2 tariff with my vodaphone but when i try to connect it message comes up saying packet data connection not available. what am i doing wrong?

  • Have you retirved the settings to connecting to the internet on the vodaphone network. Since the phone did have an o2 sim in it, it probably still has those settings enables, so to connect you need to get the vodaphone details

    tried that and it doesnt worry am afraid, well son tried it i am a complete dunce with mobiles
  • Hmm its weird. That error I would have thought would be associated with trying to connect using the incorrect connection details. Worth double checking the settings tbh, just to make sure there isn't a problem anywhere

    he has just double checked but no joy, wouldnt mind but reason i agreed was that i liked idea of big screen when doing net and now i cant use it

    we have managed to connect to the internet but only via our own wireless network, is this the only way i can connect as obviously it will be no good to me if out of range?

    my son has now tried everything and he is having problems getting the iternet up it can only be connected by using the wireless is there anything else you can suggest?

    Try getting Vodafone to send the correct settings to the phone.
