Accessories-system tools then---
all I have for system restore are a dozen or so blank squares.
If I scan over it and it blues in, I do not have to click on it, I then get a popup telling me 'IE has encountered an error and must close' it then freezes. I then have to switch pc off.
Any suggestions please.

  • Have you tried typing system restore in the search banner in the startup menu?

if you've switched it off, all your restore points will have been deleted.
