OK you clever people i want an answer if possible i am with N POWER my electric bill is £179 give or take a quid every quarter.
We cook with electric,
we light our house with it,
we put the emmersion heater on 3 hours a day.
Thats it,
We heat our cottage via a log burner which has a back boiler and heats the water and in turn heats the rads we use this during the winter ie oct to may. during this time the emmersion may go on for an hour a day if we have used to much of the hot water as we all prefer baths there is 4 of us and we bathe every night.
My question is can any one point us to a cheaper supplier??? must admit we have never changed before but what !!!!ed me off with n power was we went on holiday for 3 weeks and came back to our electric bill, and another letter posted out around 14 days later saying if we didnt pay up they would pass on to debt collector etc etc etc etc when i contacted n power they said we do not send red bills any more and as i was on going on holliday i should have contacted them to ask if a bill was due or for them to send it out a few days early YES i will be sure to do that in future my arss, ive got a life to live , i took a look at the bill it gave a date it should have been paid by but the date of the bill was a good 10 days before we went on holliday, I believe they are just trying to get us to sign up for dd and then keep us as they always estimate low. I do not like doing phone electric council tax etc monthly i pay as i recieve the bill always with in 21 days my wife and i run a business and that is how long our customers request to pay unless we work for the guv then it is a good six weeks .
So any one who can find me a cheaper supplier i would be gratefull .

No one can tell you from the info posted. Use a comparison site or two to see what's best for you. Elec and (some) gas suppliers have regional pricing. Combined with the fact that different usage rates make some suppliers better than other means you'll need to look somewhere like Uswitch, Moneysupermarket etc.0
