Expert policy finders challenge

Hi,
My friend 'ahem' John, stupidly got done for drink driving in December 2005 and was banned for a year then after getting his license back he only had it for about 3 months then got done for drunk in charge of a vehicle, the offence was in April 2007 but he tried to defend it and it was re-sheduled to September 2007 ... anyway because i ,, i mean 'he' couldn't prove that he didn't intend to drive the vehicle ... good old GUILTY unless you can PROVE that you are Innocent !!! English law ... he was done for that too and has just now got his license back. Without going into details I was living in a rather lonely place wayyyyy out in the country and the only way to get to any sort of life was to drive and it was a phase I went through and I'm now living in town, T-total and saving a bundle ...
Anyway after doing a search on Confused.com I can get a price for about £620 per year for my car (old 'M' reg 1600 rover estate) which I can pay something like £120 then £50 per month or something like that but I also have a 50cc scooter which, again doing a confused.com search will cost me another £120 or so to insure.
My question is if there is any expert policy finder that knows of a way to get both vehicles done under the same policy with the two convictions?
I think there may be but you need a doctorate in insuranceology to find it :-)
Thanks for any hints

The only way to insure several vehicles on the same policy when they are different types of vehicle is on a motor fleet insurance. There are policies designed for families to insure on one policy (I believe Admiral used to offer one - and no, I don't work for them), but you would usually need to get a quote from a broker.
I suggest you speak to a broker about your insurance anyway, as they may be able to get you a better deal than Confused through a specialist insurer. In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0 -
I didn't know who Joey Barton was until I googled him and saw all the reports of his assaults ... eek! seems to have a bit of a temper that lad.
Thanks Oscar, good advice about talking to a Broker, there's a Chubbs Insurance brokers just around the corner so I think I'll pop in there after work tomorrow (see now that I don't live in an old American RV motorhome in the middle of the forest there are 'possibilities').
